Title: A Heartfelt Message from a Distant Star
---
In the vast cosmos, where stars whisper secrets to the void, I find myself lost in a sea of constellations, each flickering with the promise of adventure and the occasional cosmic misunderstanding. My heart, a restless ocean, is yearning for a sight of you, my dear distant star. I know you’re there, somewhere beyond the last star in the sky, shining brightly despite the億萬 miles that separate us.
Every night, I gaze up at the heavens, willing my eyes to catch a glimpse of your radiant light. I imagine you’re sipping a cool drink on a distant planet, the air a bit too thick for comfort, but you’re laughing, laughing at the absurdity of it all. I bet you have a pet unicycling on your head, a small creature that keeps you company as you ponder the mysteries of the universe.
I’ve sent countless messages to you, each one a little more outrageous than the last. I’ve claimed that I’m writing a novel about our love story, complete with a happy ending. I’ve even gone so far as to say that you’re my soulmate, the one who makes me question my life choices. ( Spoiler alert: they were bad.)
But here I am, on Earth, feeling a bit down, my heart aching with unspoken words. I’ve tried all the tricks in the book, from sending a rocket to your location to leaving a note on your fridge. But nothing seems to work. You’re like a elusive dream, disappearing into the abyss of space.
So, I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands. I’ve created a plan. I’ll send a message that’s a little less extravagant but still heartfelt. I’ll write it in binary code, just to make sure it gets through. Here it goes:
“Hey distant star, if you can hear this, then I guess we’re officially friends. I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, and I realized that maybe we’re not as far apart as I thought. I mean, we’re separated by billions of light-years, but sometimes I feel like we’re just a heartbeat away. So, if you’re listening, give me a shout. And if you’re not, well, maybe you can just shine a little brighter and let me know that you’re still there.”
I hit send, and immediately I feel a surge of hope. Maybe, just maybe, you’ve received my message. And if you have, then I’ve won. I’ve won the right to keep dreaming about you, to wonder what you’re doing and who you are. And if you haven’t received it, well, that’s just another reason for me to keep looking up at the sky, hoping that one day you’ll notice me.
In the meantime, I’ll keep writing my story, one line at a time. And who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll be the one reading it. And when you do, I hope you’ll find a way to make me forget all about the distance between us. Or at least find a way to make me forget that I ever felt sorry for you.
---
And there you have it, a little piece of my heart, written in the stars. A reminder that no matter how far apart we are, love has a way of finding us, even if it takes a few billion years.
