Creeper原本是指游戲《我的世界》里的一種生物“苦力怕”。苦力怕是游戲《我的世界（Minecraft）》當中一種十分常見的敵對生物。它是接近玩家后會自爆的攻擊型生物，同時也是《Minecraft》的吉祥物與標志。它們是一種綠色的、有著一張沮喪苦臉的表情，會潛伏和自爆并以此傷害玩家及破壞周圍環境的怪物。
后因2019年7月8日網友king在YouTube上與朋友在Discord上用打字接龍的方式唱出《Revenge》這首改編歌曲，在網絡上成為流行的打字接龍梗。也是因為這首歌太過于洗腦了，所以每當有人打出“Creeper？”，就會有人“Aes up in the morn'
